Windshield Survey Assignment

A windshield survey is an observational method to collect data for a specific community.  Please refer to Table 2 on page 352 of the Richardson and Petrarca article for a list of suggested observations.  You will be completing this survey independently.   

This assignment is divided into two documents:

1. Organized summary of observations (table format is suggested)

APA not required for document 1

• 1-2 page scholarly overview that addresses the following questions (title page and references not included in page count):

3. What are the benefits of a windshield survey?
4. How can a community-based nurse utilize the information gathered from a windshield survey?  Remember to consider population health in addition to individual health

Document 2 should be formatted in APA style and include a title page, introduction, conclusion and a reference page with at least 2 scholarly references that support your ideas.
