There is a relationship between the Unit of Analysis and the boundaries of the case study method. Unit of Analysis refers to the entity framing what can be analyzed in a study or is the entity under study as a whole within which most casualty and change factors exist. In a study, the unit of analysis presents a major entity analyzed in a study such as groups, individuals, or artifacts (newspapers, books, photos, etc.) (Harrison et al., 2017). At the same time, the boundaries of the case study method focus on entities, which are clearly and relatively defined spatial boundaries as they are conceptualized and experienced in everyday life like state borders or the walls around schools or prisons (Alpi & Evans, 2019). Therefore, the relationship between the Unit of Analysis and the boundaries of the case study method is that both are entities focusing on analyzing a study within a factor of causality and change within a specific study boundary.
