Market Intelligence Report (20 points)

This first module results in a Market Intelligence Report (MIR) for the country in which the Product is made/produced. You are to explain why you chose such product. This report provides a broad overview on the country of origin including its people, economy, and infrastructure.
Example from our professor: France is the country and wine is the product produced in France. You are to research everything related to France and its wine industry.

The country our group decided to look at is The United States. We will be looking at the exportation of electric cars to China. The reason being China’s enacted version of the Clean Air Act in 2014.

Introduction Oil has globally been used by many countries for transportation purposes. Most passenger vehicles use close to 70% of oil on transportation. However, a rising middle class especially in China has caused the demand for passenger cars to increase and hence increased demand for oil.
