Type1 diabetes, also referred to as insulin-dependent diabetes, is a chronic disorder involving little or no insulin production by the pancreas. Genetics factors are termed to be the significant known contributors to this disease (Chiang et al., 2018). Even though the disease is common in childhood, in rare cases, the condition may be reported among adults.
