ASSIGNMENT : Identifying the Need

After reading the article “Identifying the Need” and reviewing the Afterschool Alliance website, create a plan to show the need for a new youth program in your community. Describe how you would find out the need for a new youth or family program in your local community. Describe the specific steps you would take (i.e., send out a survey, schedule a meeting with stakeholders, etc.), and describe actual questions you would ask, who you would ask, and what you would do with the results.

Your plan should be a minimum of three pages long, and include specific steps, questions, and people you would speak with in order to find out what \”the need\” is in your community.
