Why is it so important as an educator to impact and inspire students in the classroom?

Through the years from elementary to high school, there were many teachers that had a huge impact in my life. Some teachers would present the material and that would be that, while others would put so much into the lesson such as creating different types of visuals, discussing the lessons more in-depth and just allowing it to come to life. The YouTube video titled, “Start with Why”, by Simon Sinek, brought out many important points in knowing “Why” you are doing a particular task. His mentors ended up helping him to want to read by opening up his mind to understand why it is important to basically read.
