Government instability of any kind is one of the undesired aspects for any country owing to the many negative implications. There are notable sources of government instability. One such source is political unrest. Some countries often experience violence and economic sabotage every electioneering period. When those in power take advantage of the existing political season to fuel tension and animosity, the existing regime will likely be unstable (Rahman et al., 2018).  Similarly, political instability occasioned by demonstrations, strikes and different forms of violence as often associated with government collapse or regime reversals as the political players seek to use violence for personal gains. The second source of government instability is changes in economic performance of a country.
