Due to the limited supply of kidneys required for transplant, Americans are looking for alternatives in the overseas market. However, medical tourism has raised ethical issues of concern since the methods used to obtain such organs are questionable. These questions are drawn from the poor regulations and the oversight (WCU, 2020). Some organ recipients use unethical means to acquire the kidneys, including underpaying the donors and not minding their health conditions.
