Leadership and management are often seen as one thing, but in actuality, they are not similar. The primary dissimilarity between the two aspects is that leaders have individuals who trail them, while managers have people who work for them. However, the two need to go hand in hand. Despite being different, they are increasingly connected and complement each other. For an organization to be successful, it demands management that plans, organizes and coordinates its resources while also motivating them to remain productive and efficient (Harrison, 2020).
Leadership and management involve a different set of operations or functions.
