As per the 2015-2016 reporting categories of schools comparison, there are various areas of growth and decline associated with each school. With respect to grade 10 for St. Petersburg, the area for growth are established as craft and structure, while integration of knowledge and ideas and language and editing, text base writing and key ideas and details are areas of decline.  Essentially, craft and structure marked a growth of +5 while integration of knowledge and ideas and language and editing, text base writing and key ideas and details marked a decline of -7, -28, -2, and -3 respectively. 

At Gibbs High school, grade 10 had two growths and three declines.  The areas of growth were craft & structure and text-based writing which improved with a score of +2 and +3 respectively. Contrary, the areas of decline include; key ideas and details, integration of knowledge and ideas, and language & editing which a respective drop of -5, -7, and -28 respectively. Palm Harbor high school had four areas of decline in 2015-2016 including key ideas & details, integration of knowledge & ideas, language & editing, text-based writing which marked the following decline index; -4, -6, -25, and -4.
