Juvenile Crime The rise in juvenile delinquency has been attributed to various risk factors that expose the youngsters to crime. While these factors vary from one case to another, exposure to drugs, poverty, and instability in the family unit are the common causes of crime. Besides, the negative influence of the media coupled with easy access to guns plays a primary role in the high number of juvenile crimes.
