Summary

The study sort to explore the sources of vaping products used by adolescents and the traits of most of the adolescents that use the vaping products for the past years both in the US, Canada and England. The authors used data from the ITC Tobacco and vaping survey in 2017. This was a web-based survey that looked at 12,128 respondents that were between the age of 16 and 19. As part of the assessment, the respondents that had used vapor for the past 12 months were asked as to whether they had recently bought vapor and from which source. The researchers hypothesized the vapor to have been sourced from either a vape shop, a retail or an online platform. Besides, the respondents were asked to state whether there are instances when they were denied access to vapor.
