Write My Essay For Me

Class, here is a recommendation – realize that this assignment is worth 400 points. Put more effort into creating it than you might have put into a regular assignment worth 100 points. Also, what people do is pick the five concepts then try to somehow force those concepts into a relationship with the ONE policy that you are proposing. The ONE policy is not about the ethical/legal concepts, it is about a policy where you work, like scarce resource deployment, or informed consent, or EMTALA, or anything else you might find in your policy book where you work. So, try starting with the policy where you work that needs updating, or improving or creating. Once you identify ONE policy you want to address, it is so much easier to go back and determine which five ethical and/or legal concepts apply to this one policy. Questions? Don’t hesitate to ask.

For your Signature Assignment, create a PowerPoint presentation that discusses any five legal issues or ethical concepts of your choice that you feel are particularly important to the improvement of healthcare. Note – You can mix ethical and legal if you want to, 2 ethical, 3 legal for instance. It doesn’t have to be all ethical or all legal, but it can be if you want. Explain the impact of these five concepts on nursing, the healthcare institution, and on the quality of patient care. Note: Try to pick five concepts that hang together in some way so you are integrating the concepts in a useful and logical way. The presentation shouldn’t be five separate discussions that do not seem to relate to one another in any useful and logical way. All five concepts should apply to the ONE policy that you are proposing.

For your presentation:

Select any five legal issues or ethical concepts that you feel influence or hinder nursing practice, healthcare institutions or quality patient outcomes.
Explain the five selected legal issues or ethical concepts regarding the impact on nursing, the healthcare institution, and on the quality of patient outcomes. Note: Again, though you need to explain each, make every attempt to integrate these five concepts in some way. After explaining each be sure to have a slide that explains how these five concepts hang together.
Develop a policy proposal with measures and recommendations that could positively impact nursing, allow healthcare institutions to thrive, and improve the quality of patient outcomes. Note: The ONE policy proposal is the most critical part of the presentation. I recommend taking one policy that you feel may need updating where you work or one policy that does not exist but should exist where you work. There are probably issues caused by COVID that have created problems because a policy does not exist to address it. This presentation should not address five policies, just one, that integrates the five concepts that you have chosen. Be sure to use the 10 steps for policy development that we discussed in the course. Also, be sure to explain what the procedure is where you work for policy development and show how you have theoretically followed that procedure in your policy proposal.
Detail how nursing could act or advocate to incorporate the policy proposal into practice. Note: Make this specific to where your work. How could nursing act to have this policy adopted where you work? Try to be specific, not general statements.
Review the Signature Assignment Rubric before starting your presentation. Note: If you can’t find the rubric let me know, I’ll send it to you.

Assignment Expectations

Length: 16-20 slides minimum; answers must thoroughly address the questions in a clear, concise manner.

Structure:

Title: 1 slide. Note: Be sure all of the info that would appear on an APA title page 7th edition appears on the title slide. Plus, be sure each slide is numbered on the slide. Be sure every slide has narrative in the Notes View.

Objectives: 1 slide. Note: This should be framed in terms of learning objectives. By the end of the presentation the participant will be able to… (do what?) Use verbs like list, explain, describe, demonstrate etc.

List five legal issues or ethical concepts: 1 slide

Explain the five issues or concepts: at least 5 slides

Present a (ONE) policy proposal incorporating the five issues or concepts with measures and recommendation’s: at least 5 slides Note: integrate the five concepts into one policy proposal. The policy proposal isn’t about these five concepts, it integrates the five concepts. The policy could be about anything, determining who gets the next available respirator, for example, but it will integrate the five concepts you have chosen.

Explain how nursing can act or advocate to incorporate the policy proposal into practice: 1-5 slides. Note: Make this very concrete based on how policies are developed and integrated where you work. In addition, reflect any considerations from the Board of Nursing in your state, and any state laws that might apply to this policy. ANA might also have some statements that address the policy.

Conclusion: 1 slide. Note: This is NOT a recap of what you covered in the presentation. It is, instead, a review of the most critical take-away points of your presentation, what you want the participants to remember about your presentation.

References: 1 slide. Note: This slide should have the Design turned off so you can list all references on one slide and in APA formatting. Avoid foreign sources as ethics and especially the law differ by nation. Avoid old references and references that only barely apply to the policy under consideration.

Additionally, because a good presentation has few words on the slides include a script with the verbiage you would say when presenting; script should be a minimum of 50 words per slide. Note: Your script, what you have on the Notes View under each slide, should be in high quality, APA writing. It should look and read as good as something you would send me for an APA paper.

References: Use the appropriate APA style in-text citations and references for all resources utilized to answer the questions. Include at least five (5) scholarly sources to support your claims, at least one (1) per legal issue or ethical concept in addition to any texts. Note: Five scholarly (which does not include the textbooks, dictionaries, or non-scholarly sources like .coms) is the minimum required.

Format: Save your assignment as a Microsoft PowerPoint document and a Word document (.pptx) and (.doc or .docx) or Open Office Impress.

File name: Name your saved file according to your first initial, last name, and the module number (for example, “RHall Module1.pptx”).
