Language disorder refers to impairment to speech or the ability to express oneself. A person having such a disorder will have difficulty in communication which affects their social life. Such a disorder however has a remedy.
Modifications for a Student with Language Disability
The appropriate modifications include allowing the students to remain silent in class unless speech is part of the course competency. Secondly, the content delivery can be modified such that students are asked to repeat or clarify if their speech is not understood clearly.
