The table below focused on various aspects of qualitative research and was drawn from reading the Maruti case study and identifying the consumer target for every A-segment hatch. The qualitative research table would facilitate developing a research design given that it specifies the consumer. It also includes the consumer’s age, income, and areas of interest when purchasing vehicles (Jaydeep et al., 2015), critical for this research. In addition, various qualitative aspects of the case would help better understand why all A-Segments cater to the consumer currently, what aspects the consumer considers essential as part of their decision-making, and what they look for in a vehicle.
Accordingly, qualitative research information also helps to understand consumer needs better.
