The ePHR dubbed “My Diabetes My Way” was meant to offer access for both clinical data and information regarding people that had diabetes in Scotland with the aim of outlining the experience of users, any limitations to access and consequently enlighten on upcoming developments. The responses were obtained in the form of a questionnaire. The usage pattern and utility of the system were evaluated based on the Likert’s scale. A total of 3,797 respondents engaged in the survey, 63% being male and 27% being female respondents. According to the results, most of the respondents stated that the online platform provided access of information regarding diabetes and hence it has the ability to help improve self-care.
