The Role of the RN/APRN in Policy Evaluation
Healthcare nurses have an ethical and legal obligation to provide quality care. One way to achieve this mandate is for the nurses to be part of the policy-making process. Additionally, nurses also need to evaluate results as an important component of policy design. At a personal level, I am comfortable with the thought of being involved with policy evaluation matters because I believe, is the best way to meet patient healthcare demands.
