The healthcare sector has a diverse number of teams most of which I have had the privilege of working with. One of the notable team that I have recently worked with is the multidisciplinary work team. A multidisciplinary team is made up of different healthcare professionals that have different specialized skills and experience in running the day to day activities of a healthcare institution. In this multidisciplinary setup, members work together to ensure that the health care services provided are of good quality (Burns, Bradley & Weiner, 2012).
