Based on personal and professional experience, leadership is the ability to convert vision into reality. Good leaders have incredible social intelligence, a passion for revolution, in addition to a vision that lets them set their effort on the things that require close attention. A leader must have the capacity to develop a vision, inspire others, set direction, and identify things that matters most and articulate their decisions (Northouse, 2015). Recent research on the relevant skills and competence that leaders require established the increasing purpose of personalities such as self-mastery and self-awareness. Leadership is all about motivating, empowering, and inspiring while management is about planning and getting the work done. Leadership also involve aligning individuals to the set vision, through inspiration, communication, and motivation.
