My Experience with a 6-year-old female with a UTI
During my pediatric clinical rotation, I encountered a case of a six-year-old female who was suffering from Urinary Tract Infections (UTI). This is an infection that affects kidneys, ureters, bladder, or urethra and occurs when some bacteria infect the urinary system (Al-Shaikh & Al-Badr, 2013). The infection proved to be painful and aggravating because the child was experiencing severe abdominal/pelvic pain, vomiting, fever, and flank pain.
