Information system is important in the communication world of today. As a way of tightening security in communication, symmetric and asymmetric encryption is used. Through cryptography, data and information can be transferred from one place to another without necessarily disclosing the contents of that information to another third party.
Symmetric and Asymmetric Cryptographic Algorithms
Symmetric encryption uses a single key which has to be shared among those people whose message is intended. On the other hand, asymmetric encryption relies on a pair of public key as well as a private one for passing messages (Tripathi & Agrawal, 2014).
