Many of the discoveries made in science and technology are initially intended to make human life safer and better. However, because of the nature of the world politics and the desire for capitalist countries, organizations and individuals, the technologies may be used for purposes that will endanger human beings. I believe that highly sensitive discoveries and technologies need to be regulated by an international body to ensure that they do not put the safety of human beings at risk (Rosenberg, 2013).
