The transition from bachelorhood to marital life is a sensitive step that requires careful consideration. One sensitive aspect about this transition is the cultural background of the partner as it often dictates the values and a person’s general perspective about life. One can opt to marry from the same or different culture based on personal preferences. Same culture in this case doesn’t necessarily mean the same race but rather same environment and holding a similar perspective about different aspects of life (Eicker, 2017). Marrying a person from the same culture is way better than marrying one who is from a different culture. Same culture means a person doesn’t have to struggle to adjust to the traditions and beliefs of the partner.  Also regard marrying from the same culture as better because there is a lot to share and partners already have different aspects in common and chances of conflict or cultural shocks are reduced.
