Introduction
Cultural events refer to activities that relate to a specific culture ranging from music, art exhibitions, fashion events‎, and comics events and festivals. The events are based on beliefs, customs, values and social behaviors of a given country or community. Understanding the culture of people is important in understanding their heritage (Visser & Rogerson, 2017). This essay is meant to discuss two cultural events that happened in Kenya in the last one year as read on an article. Kenya is one of the countries in Africa with big community rich in culture. The lesson learned from the cultural events will also be presented.
Lamu Cultural Festival
