Brick and mortar store purchasing, and online purchasing has its own positive and negative advantages. Nowadays most people prefer purchasing online rather than going to the store. The online store has many advantages, customers can compare prices versus the other online stores, it is convenient to order and it is hassle free. The online store sites are easier to maintain and because the overhead cost of the operation is so minimum, they can offer a variety of product at low cost with special offers. If the Brick-and-mortar stores want to stay competitive with online stores they must excel in customer services, offer similar product at special discount with special promo i.e., free installation or free delivery so customers are tempted to buy in store versus online. Most people prefer in store purchasing because they want to see and feel the quality of a product regardless of the price and also want to support their local stores and community. I prefer online store because it is easier, I can research and compare products and prices before I am fully committed to buying.

Well said. In addition, what if Brick and Mortar stores as a competitive strategy make the determination to leave the stores open for 24 hours that will allow customers to scan and go at any time of the day?
