The amendments to the US constitution was as a result of the desire of some Convention Members with the aim of preventing misconstructions or abuse of its powers. There are some restrictive clauses that the Congress added as a result, which according to my review, some of them are highly fundamental while others seem to be outdated. Although the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States amended the constitution to extend the ground of public confidence, it doesn’t obviously prove that some of the amendments are in the best interests of the people (Rossum & Tarr, 2016). In addition, some modifications might not be inclusive enough to cater the interests of all the citizens. The goal of this paper is to identify and discuss one of the fundamental amendments proposed to the Legislatures of the several States and ratified pursuant to the 5^th Article of the original Constitution.

Review of The Amendments The most important amendment of the constitution according to my review is the sixth amendment, which states that in all criminal prosecutions, the accused shall enjoy the right to a speedy and public trial (Rossum & Tarr, 2016).
