Question 1

Building learning experiences based on children’s expressed interests allow them to explore, express themselves, develop their imaginations and creativity. Being exposed to art experiences will enable children to think openly, create new meaning, and give them the courage to take risks. Some of the ways teachers can use to build on their interests are; by creating, experimenting, and producing art based on their interests. In all these activities, children should take the lead in artistic experimentation, but as a teacher, you inspire their learning.
