Assignment Help | How will classifying Mexican cartels as a terrorist organization affect border, and law enforcement operations?

For my research question I wanted to do something that brings all of my interest I mentioned together. With the recent talks of President Trump saying he wants to classify cartels as a terrorist organization brings me to the perfect question. How will classifying Mexican cartels as a terrorist organization affect border, and law enforcement operations? This is an interesting topic that is current, and will have a large impact on homeland security operations if it happens. Classifying cartels as a terrorist organization has the potential to improve the quality of the American way of life by bringing harsh punishments to anyone involved. This will require some interesting adapting and creation of new policies across the nation but it will heighten the risk street gangs take when distributing drugs that are linked to cartels.

Write My Essay For Me

This week you will be submitting your final paper. Your final paper should consist of the following sections:

Title Page of the Paper. The title of your paper should be brief but should adequately inform the reader of your general topic and the specific focus of your research. Keywords relating to parameters, population, and other specifics are useful. The Title Page must include the title, name, course name and number, and Professor’s Name.

Introduction, Research Question, and Hypothesis: This section shall provide an overview of the topic that you are writing about, a concise synopsis of the issues, and why the topic presents a “puzzle” that prompts your research questions, which you will include. End your introduction with your research question.

Review of the Literature: All research projects include a literature review to set out for the reader what knowledge exists on the subject under study and helps the researcher develop the research strategy to use in the study. A good literature review is a thoughtful study of what has been written, a summary of the arguments that exist (whether you agree with them or not), arranged thematically. At the end of the summary, there should still be gaps in the literature that you intend to fill with your research. It is written in narrative format and can be from 5-6 pages depending on the scope and length of the paper.
As a literature review, this section should identify the common themes and theories that the prior research identified. In this section, what you do is look at the conclusions of prior research and identify what the common themes are you see in those conclusions. You then identify those themes. The APUS online library has some helpful information on what a literature review is:

Methodology and Research Strategy: This section provides the reader with a description of how you carried out your qualitative research project, and the variables you identified and analyzed. It describes any special considerations and defines any limitations and terms specific to this project, if necessary. This section can be brief or more complicated, depending on the project, written in 1-2 pages.

Analysis and findings are not the same as conclusions. In the analysis component of this section you identify how you analyzed the data. The second part is the finding you got from your analysis of the data. The findings are the facts that you developed, not your interpretation of the facts. That interpretation is conducted in the conclusions and recommendations section of the paper. Findings will come from the prior research you examined and your analysis of those prior findings to create new findings for your paper. While there may be some facts that are such that they will stand and translate to your paper, the intent is to create new knowledge, so you will normally analyze the data to create your own findings of what facts that data represents.

Conclusions and Recommendations is the section where you give your interpretation of the data. Here you tell the reader what the findings mean. Often the conclusions and recommendations sections will mirror the findings in construct as the researcher tells the reader what that researcher sees as the meaning of that data, their conclusions. Then, drawing on those conclusions, the researcher tells the reader what they believe needs to be done to solve/answer the research question. This section may include recognition of any needs for further research and then finishes with a traditional conclusion to the paper as a whole.

Remember, your paper should seek to answer a question that helps to solve the research puzzle you identified.

How Will Classifying Mexican Cartels as a Terrorist Organization Affect Border and Law Enforcement Operations?

A terrorist organization refers to a group of people who are engaged in the planning, preparing, fostering and assisting in the doing of radical activities (Chard, 2016). Some of the activities that may be considered terrorist-like include discrimination, assassination, arson, sabotage, violent acts, and kidnappings (Jackson, 2015). With the recent Mexican drug cartels becoming quite rampant, the Trump administration has proceeded to label these cartels as terrorist organizations. Citing that these cartels may have similarities to the already widely-known terrorist groups already in existence such as Al-Qaeda, The Hezbollah and ISIS is a big allegation. This declaration will proceed to create a drastic change in dynamics between people of Mexican descent and those in law enforcement. Therefore, this paper seeks to find out how classifying Mexican cartels as a terrorist organization will affect border and law enforcement operations.

Review of the Literature

Although most Mexican cartels are based in Mexico, they pose a security threat to the entire world. In the past, the border and law enforcement operations have been involved in securing the U.S borders from the possible entry of illegal immgrants (Payan, 2016). The border patrol agents also played an important role in facilitating any legal immigration of either people or goods into the country (Gravell, 2018). Secondly, they are also detrimental in ensuring that people and illegal goods are not brought into the country by the process of illegal trafficking. The law enforcement agencies and officials also play a vital role in ensuring that the American people are protected from the dealings of the cartels in the country.

The United States Customs and Border Protection, as well as the Law enforcement agencies have been following several policies and procedures to ensure that their dealings with the people coming through the Mexican borders are legal and regulated by law. The first policy that comes in handy is the Anti-Discrimination and Anti-Harassment Policy (Payan, 2016). In this policy, border security and law enforcement agencies are expected to ensure that they do not discriminate against the individuals who may be seeking asylum in the United States (Gravelle, 2018). This policy would be significant in ensuring that the people coming through the border are not favored or discriminated against based on their gender, age or possible disability while seeking to be citizens in the U.S. This policy also seeks to ensure that the border agents do not harass the individuals they encounter at the border (Salt, 2017). Harassment may come in many forms such as yelling, cursing, insulting and threatening the people they meet whether in private or public. This also helps in ensuring that the people they are helping, are treated as they should by preserving their human dignity during the entire border search process from the interview process to the search for any illegal contraband or people trafficking that the people may be involved in. The second policy and procedure that is used by border security is the Disability Accommodation. This policy seeks to ensure that the steps taken when dealing with individuals who may have disabilities crossing the U.S border. This is done by ensuring that the rules and regulations used on them are more lenient and accommodative helping them secure the needed help and understanding required from the border agents in charge (Chard, 2016.) The reasonable accommodation clause included in this policy involves making the necessary preparations to ensure that individuals with disabilities can plead their…
