For this assignment, you will review an animated film or movie of your choice. It can be a stop motion, 2D, or a 3D animated film. Maybe there is an animation that you enjoyed as a child that you would like to revisit with a critical eye. After watching the animation, please answer the following questions in complete sentences, using the Unit VIII Animation Review Worksheet. (See attachment)

Title: Minions, produced in 2015. It is an American 3D computer animated comedy film.

• What genre or type of animation is it? Does it have a message?

‘Minions’ is a 3D computer-animated film. It is in the category of children comedy.  The message being passed across is that a team cannot succeed if team members are selfish, easily distracted or inept.

• What is the animation’s plot? Does the plot make sense? Is it easy to follow or believable?

The animation kicks off with a brief overview about the minions, how they have been in existence from time immemorial seeking to serve the most horrible master. The frequent change of masters is because they kill them one after another. At one time the minions find out that they have been left alone in cavern covered with ice where they exist as a tribe of their own. After some time, they see no meaning in living without a master. One of the minions named Kevin runs away and goes outside the cavern in search of a master. Stuart and Bob accompany Kevin and they travel to New York. After wandering for some time, they find a secret villain TV channel broadcasting the Villain ….

Scarlet is followed by the minions to her residence and meanwhile Kevin calls his fellow minions asking them to come over. The minions excitedly hand over the crown and the kingship to her.
