In 2018, the national average of child abuse and neglect victims in 2015 was 9.2 victims per 1,000 children. With the high level of parents’ engagement due to tough economic times, the number | PLACE YOUR ORDER NOW AT writtask.com | traumatic events include sexual abuse, school violence, witnessing or experiencing domestic violence, neglect, accidents, and life-threatening illnesses, among others (CDC, n.d). The implication is especially pronounced if the trauma incidence often occurs with little attention/ support.

Therefore, there is an urgent need to set up a mental and physical trauma program, specifically targeting communities whose vulnerability index is higher than the state average.
