Apple Inc. is a global leader in the consumer electronics, computer software, and other online services markets. The company has been known for its efficiency on many fronts including in its supply chain and operations management. One of the problems the company has faced before is the issue of cybersecurity threats that the company has to constantly deal with (Trabelsi, 2016). In order to deal with the threat, Apple has made adequate investment in security upgrades to prevent its systems from being attacked by hackers and other cybersecurity threats. By installing state-of-the-art security systems such as those supplied by device management firm Fleetsmith, the company is not taking any chances with the rising prevalence of cybersecurity threats.
Installation of advanced security systems has been tried and proven effective in many other similar companies such as IBM and Microsoft.
