Details:
A special education teacher works collaboratively with the IEP team to develop intervention plans for problem behaviors that may affect the learning and safety of students in the classroom. The results from a functional behavior assessment are analyzed and used to develop and implement a plan to change behavior based on the function the behavior serves and the needs of the student. Ongoing assessment is needed to determine the success of the intervention.

Frequency of Incidents
The frequency of Angel’s incidents was high. Angel has frequently gotten into trouble because of his behavior in line and during recess. Also, he has caught the attention of other students because of his continuous irrational behavior of taking their items and causing a disturbance. Another evidence to prove that Angel incidences are of high frequency is that he does not complete his assignments and his work is usually blank and lacking sense.
Interaction with Peers
Angel shows a very poor relationship with his peers. Seldom does he interact with them in a reasonable way which is a behavior commonly presented by people who have ADHD (Arns, Heinrich & Strehl, 2014). He keeps causing disturbance even during the class time when everyone is supposed to maintain silence. Angel distracts others by raising unnecessary arguments, moving out of his seat to sharpen pencils, and taking things away from his peers.
Consequences Angel’s behavior is a great hindrance…
