Focus Assignment:
1. Develop a set of guidelines to assess a variety of behaviors that communicate the three A\’s in early childhood classroom setting. Include at least 5 behaviors for each of the three A’s. Chose one behavior on your list from each of the three A\’s and describe a toddler\’s positive response to that behavior.

Toddler putting the Three A’s into Practice
Toddlers give back what they receive during their childhood. They give back stability, kindness, care, and consistency as they grow up, which will also depend on how they interact with the world. Their caregiving and interactions turn out to be from their caregivers and are evidenced by their behaviors towards other people. In a study of the nervous system development in children, Booren et al. (2012) observe that the quality of care, actions, tempo and voice tone, verbal messages, and secure handlings of toddlers growing up help create pathways of the nerve system, which determine the perceptions of every child, and how they map the world (Booren, Downer & Vitiello, 2012). Therefore, there are a variety of behaviors, which communicate the three A’s – Attention, Approval, and Attunement, as is attributed by life-long effects of consistent, positive, and conscious toddler care.
