Assignment | Describe What Is In The Book,

This paper requires the student to review the strategies for relieving negative impacts on employees during times of organizational stress and change. This book deals with the practicalities of making changes in organizations, often called improvement programs. This book reviews situations in which organizations are “forced” to make changes. Some chapters focus on ways to transform positively through recombination of peoples, networks, cultures, processes and structures. Other chapters focus on strategies to specifically address problems: too many initiatives, destabilization, and disrespect. Please write a memo of three paragraphs: 1) describe what is in the book, 2) describe situations in which you experienced one of more of these situations in an organization that you work or have worked in, 3) evaluate the strategies for their practicality and innovativeness.

* The book is called Change without pain by Eric Abrahamson. I\’ve attached the link below that summarizes the book, which can be used in the first paragraph and through out the memo.*
