Across the program, your field experiences must include a mix of K-8 and 9-12 grade level settings, as well as a mix of students that are intellectually disabled, learning disabled, emotionally disabled, have orthopedic impairments, or other health impairments.

Field Experience B: Assessment
Formal assessments are referred to as tests that systematically determine how well a student has mastered the content by considering the learning outcomes (Nicol, 2009). This essay is meant to administer nonbiased formal classroom assessments and also how well they have adapted the use of technology by administering an assessment on use of technology in class. The field experience will include K-8 students and those in 9-12 grade as well as those with health impairments with a focus being on English Language, History/Social science as well as adaptive technology. Throughout the assessment, the expectation output for all the students were the same.
In terms of the nonbiased formal classroom assessment, the experience was that most students were able to read. By comparing a student to others and again comparing a student to a big group beyond the classroom (based on the experience), the standardized exam results showed that more than 95% of the students have grasped the material they are taught in classroom.
