Defining a research purpose is important for any research process. Through the research purpose, it is possible to explore the goals and objectives of a research question at hand. Furthermore, it is from the research purpose that the research design is defined with a specific end goal in mind. The purpose statement can as well define the research variables, population and the possible setting of a given study. This task assesses the research purpose for my PHD work, a justification of the objectives and confidence level for attaining the goal of the research.
