Compelling Topics Learned in The Course
Grant proposal writing has been an interesting topic with very many important insights. With very many angles of analysis from topic 1 to topic 3, this area has been one of the fascinating course in the field of criminology. Even though all the topics had a very positive impact, one of the compelling topics that I learned were on topic 2. A critical evaluation of the difference between competitive and non-competitive grants gave an insight of what the grant writers look at even as they submit a grant proposal for consideration. Understanding the difference between the two increased my interest on the different approaches that funders use to ensure that grants are awarded in the best transparent ways possible.
