Rubrics are scoring guidelines that are multidimensional in nature. They are used to provide some degree of consistency when evaluating a student’s work. Also known as grading schemes or criteria sheets, rubrics define exact criteria for assessment and a set of expected performance standards (Wollenschläger, Hattie, Machts, Möller & Harms, 2016).
Why a Rubric is an Effective Valuation Instrument
