Medical conditions can be categorized as either acute or chronic but they can be differentiated based on the diagnosis (causes, symptoms) and treatment implemented in primary care (Thakare et al.,2020). Acute illnesses can generally develop suddenly and often last for a short time; either instantly, a few days or weeks. On the other hand, chronic conditions come up slowly and can get worse over an extended time period such as months and even years.
