To what extend should the schools be responsible for teaching sex education?

As a parent, I believe that teaching our kids sex education is the parents and second home responsibility, because of the amount of time they expend on schools,is like their second home and young teenagers are more like to meet the partner who they would decide or choose to loss their virginity or have an active sexual life at their school. In the stated that I live in Florida;sex education is not currently mandated.Schools that do teach sex education must emphasize abstinence as the expected social standard.Since Florida schools are not required to provide sex education to students, school districts are left to decide what type of sex education if any at all they provide to youth.(SEICUS.org).

To what extent should sex education be left to parents?

Who should handle eduaction about STD\’S?

STD\’S should be a topic speak by both parents and schools.Because the may question that they school will not answer or talk about it at school. Our kids may feel or find more comfortable talking to their own parent, but everything is depending on their relationship between parents and kid\’s.Parent or guardian should be comfortable and do their research before talking to their kids about this subject to avoid confusing on young teens or mislead them with the incorrect information. We need to educate our self on this subject to be ready to have this conversation that is important in our kid\’s life.
