• To determine the public policy (climate change) and analyze how climate change can affect development patterns, as well as how the implementation of the public policy will be done by the Cayman Islands/Government. 

Executive Summary Public policy refers to the process by which government(s) translate their political vision to actions and programs to deliver outcomes – desired changes in the real world. Public policy also involves a specific course of action which a government takes to address various issues by providing lasting solutions. Some of the issues a government would follow include global warming, climate change, unemployment, and health care. In this case, the public policy issue of focus is climate change in the Cayman Islands. The Cayman Islands is naturally vulnerable to natural hazards, and this is because of various features such as its small size with limited resources, and the high competition for space and land use.
