Choose a person, an event, a social movement, or an idea that has been studied in the class that had a significant impact on the development of the United States. In what ways do conditions that exist in the nation today reflect the lasting influence of this person, event, social movement, or idea? How does your chosen topic impact Americans in 2021? You should  reference at least three sources assigned this semester that support your argument. One source from the book, and 2 sources from the primary source that I included in the file.
